Privacy policy
This page describes which data Periodensvara.se processes, why it is needed and what rights you have.
Data controller
JB Pharma AB (reg. no. 559521-1649), Höbalsgatan 3, 216 33 Limhamn, Sweden, is the data controller for the processing of personal data on Periodensvara.se. Please use our contact form if you have questions about privacy.
Contact form
When you contact us, we process your name, email address, chosen subject and the content of your message. The data is used only to read, answer and, if needed, follow up your enquiry. The processing is based on your consent.
Please do not include personal identity numbers, sensitive health information or other details that are not needed for your enquiry. Messages are kept only as long as needed for the contact and follow-up, normally no more than twelve months.
Account and price alerts
When you sign in, we process your email address and account link to give you access to your account and any Premium subscription (contract). Payment records are kept for seven years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (legal obligation).
The medicines you save in your list may reveal something about your health. We therefore store the list only with your explicit consent, which you give by pressing “Save to my list” after reading the information next to the button. You can withdraw your consent at any time by removing the medicines from your list or asking us to delete your account.
Email alerts are off by default. If you turn them on, we compare the prices of your saved medicines and email you before the end of the month if next month’s preliminary price differs from today’s. If the preliminary price changes later, we may send another email. The email contains the names and prices of the medicines. You can turn the alerts off under My list, and you can ask us to delete your account data via the contact form.
Professional
For companies with Professional, we process company details, the email addresses of the administrator and colleagues, and watchlists and settings in order to provide the service, send digests and monthly reports, and invoice (contract). The emails can be turned off in the dashboard.
Visitor statistics
We use aggregated visitor statistics to understand which parts of the service are used and to improve the website. The statistics may include pages visited, approximate geographic area and type of device and browser. The measurement is not intended to identify individual visitors. We also count how many visits come from our ads and how many searches and purchases are made per day – without cookies and without storing any data about you.
Technical service providers
We use a small number of carefully selected providers (data processors) for hosting, data storage, sign-in, email and payments. They process data only on our behalf and according to our instructions, under agreements that govern the processing. Data is primarily stored within the EU/EEA. If data is processed outside the EU/EEA, this is done with safeguards under the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw any consent you have given by contacting us via the form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
